Based in Valley Forge, Pa., Fast Tracks Running Club was founded in 1993 with a special commitment to women’s running. Fast Tracks has evolved over the years and now has more than 200 members, both male and female. 

We invite anyone with an interest in running, regardless of age, experience, ability, or running goals to join us. Our commitment is to provide a welcoming environment for all runners. Fast Tracks is a proud member of Road Runners Club of America

VOLUNTEER AT THE PHILADELPHIA MARATHON

We will be setting up tables at the Mile-9.8 water stop on the Philadelphia Marathon race course. , filling up cups with water/Gatorade, handing off these cups and energy gels to runners, and cleaning up our trash/recyclables. Oh, and cheering on every runner on the course!  Its a fun morning and all volunteers get a FREE SWEATSHIRT.

Runners of all ages, paces, and levels of experience are welcome to join us for a run. Fast Tracks coordinates a variety of runs throughout the week. These are our most popular weekly runs:

Saturday Morning Long Run

The Saturday morning long distance training (LDT) run typically starts at 7am.  Most weeks, the group meets at the Betzwood Pincic Area for a run on the schuylkill river trail but locations do sometimes vary from week to week. Some runners do up to 20 miles while others just do a few. Either way, the Saturday morning long run provides a social way to train for an upcoming race or just enjoy a scenic group run.

Sunday Morning Coffee Run

The Sunday morning coffee run starts at the Gateway Plaza Panera Bread at 7am. Very informal, easy pace. 5-6 miles through Chesterbrook and Wilson Farm Park.

Tuesday Evening Track Workout

Due to scheduling conflicts at Conestoga High School Track. Our track session has been moved from Wednesday to Tuesday evening at 6:15pm for the 2022-2023 school year. This informal workout provides is a great opportunity for runners of all paces and abilities to become stronger runners by participating in structured short distance weekly workouts.
